Jackie Kennedy was born as Jacqueline Lee Bouvier on July 28, 1929. She was born in South Hampton, New York to a very wealthy family. Her father was a stock broker on Wall Street and was very successful. When Jackie approached the age of ten her parents got a divorce. Since she was raised in a Catholic family divorce was not very common. The divorce of Jackie's parents took a major toll on her.
As a child Jackie was very passionate about horseback riding. To Jackie horseback riding was not just a hobby. At the age of eleven Jackie had won several national championships and was even recognized by the New York Times.

Jackie stated "i loved it more than any other year of my life." When Jackie returned to the United States she attended The George Washington University for her final year of College.

She continued with her background in art and history and started the White House Historical Association, she also made sure that the White House continued the effort to protect the historical integrity of the White House. preserving historical monuments, buildings, and art was very important to Jackie. She reached her ultimate goal by creating the National Endowment for the Humanities and Arts, which offers support and funds for projects showing artistic excellence.

Jackie Kennedy's pink suit was her most well known outfit. The pink suit was what Jackie was wearing when JFK was assassinated. The suit was covered in blood and she refused to take it off even when she was at the hospital. her reasoning was "No, I'm going to leave these clothes on. I want them to see what they have done," She wore the suit six times total up until the day he was assassinated. Since the day of the assassination the suit has been locked away in a national archive building in order to preserve the suit. The suit has never been cleaned and it never will be. It still has the blood on it from the day JFK was assassinated. "The suit is stored in a windowless vault, in an acid free container, where the air is changed three times an hour to properly maintain the wool and cloth. It is kept at a temperature of 65 to 68 degrees, which is best for the fabric."(CNN)

JFK Jr died in a plane crash at the age of thirty-eight due to the pilots failure to maintain control of the plane while it was flying over water at night. Their third child was Patrick Kennedy. Patrick two days after his birth because he was born five and a half weeks early as a pre-mature baby. After JFK died Jackie re-married to Aristotle Onassis and gained two step children out of her new marriage. The first child was Alexander Onassis who died in a plane crash at twenty-four years old (two years later his father died.) Christina Onassis was her second step child. Christina was married four times and got divorced every single time. Christina died at the age of thirty-seven due to a heart attack that occurred while she was in her bath tub.
